Seems to work the other way around, strangely enough. Those who are already quite comfortably well off are the most in favour of selfish policies. Presumably to preserve that comfort.

That depends. There's nothing wrong with wanting a comfortable future for yourself and your family, but some people's definition of "comfort" extends more towards "excess", which isn't a problem in itself either, except when that excess comes at the expense of others.

I think you could apply that to almost any scenario i.e. Brexit - those who voted out did so to preserve/gain their vision of of a comfortable future whilst the those that voted to remain did so to preserve/ gain their vision of a comfortable future.

Those that have want to preserve, those that have not want to gain. At the end of the day everyone is looking after their own interests - no one is going to vote against what they believe is in their best interests.

Those that attempt to imply a 'higher calling' are the worst and the least believable/trustworthy In my opinion.

Yes, and as I have said I believe the NHS is safer in the hands of the tories than that of either Corbyn or the EU.

Corbyn' policies simply don't add up unless you believe in the fairies. The EU and Article 106.

Oh right. so you feel as if you're choosing between somebody who wants to protect it but cant, and somebody who doesnt want to protect it and wont?

I've gotta say, even with this logic, I think you fit the criteria of the group of people you don't believe exist.

I think most people vote in the interests of themselves, their families and friends.
