Despite helping everyone last season and this one too? she would've won Miss Congeniality if that title actually meant what it says and the queens voted for the most helpful/supportive queen - most of the S9 girls said as much (off the top of my head, Farrah, Cynthia and Kimora all mentioned getting help early on before she was eliminated), and she's been pretty popular aside from some bitchy talking-heads about "talking too much" in S10.

Just don't get what there is that's so hateable in her...

...well, I do, among the teen fans who have a 100% track record of vilifying and mocking the fat queen every season... even when they're some of the most talented like Darienne, Ginger and Eureka...

I mean, "Eureka's loud and obnoxious" was one of her main storylines on season 9 for a reason, even though there was no ill intent behind it and she probably didn't warrant it being such a prominent part of her edit... I think some people are finding it hard to forget what they first remember of her, despite her being much more pleasant this season (I mean, the first ten minutes of season 9 where she's talking over everyone and repeating their own jokes back to them might be one of the worst initial impressions a queen has made, so I can sort of see why). Sure, she also seems very congenial, she's a talented queen and the other queens are fond of her for a reason, but it's that persisting "loud and obnoxious" side to her that still rears its head now and again, as sure as I am that those aren't her intentions. I'm thinking her joking about Cynthia's eating disorders, and yep, she definitely did escalate the situation with The Vixen into an argument. Sure, The Vixen was the one who was shouting, but it was Eureka who #PokedTheBear (and admitted it) (basically, Monique got confused by Eureka calling her and Vixen crafty, Vixen then started having a conversation with Monique, before Eureka made the "tired of hearing you speak" comment because Vixen wasn't having a conversation with her instead/wouldn't let her interrupt her)

(also perhaps stuff like the old n-word video that she's apologised for, and that "all lives matter" tweet the other day, might make her out to be a bit problematic even if she's otherwise well-meaning)

For me when it comes to Eureka, it's more to do with how she treated Vixen especially given that it was one episode after Vixen made the point of talking about how she'll always be villainised if a white girl comes for her and then backs off when she responds. I thought that was quite calculated and vicious on Eureka's part. She's redeemed herself though by teaming up with Kameron and Monet when no one else would, that really helped my perception of her.

Vixen started that with taking a compliment the wrong way, and has been doing more than enough to propagate the "black girl = confrontational and aggressive" trope whether that's right or wrong. She's been spoiling for drama and I for one am not complaining, but I'm also not going to start accusing every single white girl who has an argument with her of playing race games.

I just watched it again to make sure I remembered it right and I did. Vixen didn't like the crafty comment but that's not what started the drama, it was Eureka going in calling her negative and then going 'I'M TIRED OF THIS, CAN I GO SMOKE?' when Vixen was talking. Eureka was looking for a reaction there and she said as much later on when she said she was testing Vixen.

I don't think she was playing race games but I think she was playing on Vixen's insecurities to try to make her look bad.
