If you look closely on caroles VT she has a .....BEARD!!! - she could shave if she has those kind of problems..ewwwwwwwww

I think its all part of her doesn't really care what people think attitude. If she was seen bleaching it or caked in make up people would complain. I think for an older women she has just crossed that point of not caring and happy with who she is.
