Default What\'s the official TIBB position on homophobic content?

Do we click on the 'Report' button if we see a homophobic post? Is it even prohibited, given that it doesn't seem to be (along with racism) mentioned in the Rules at all? "Don't post anything offensive" is very much open to interpretation, after all.

Clicking on the Report button in itself is fairly problematic, too. There's no real reference to base a situation on. Sometimes you get a reply, sometimes you don't. I appreciate that the same post may be reported umpteen times over, that some people will use it for silly reasons, and some may even use it by mistake. But an acknowledgement of some sort would be nice, even if it's just a stock copy & paste (from an actual member of staff of course, rather than an automated response). Otherwise, how do we know whether we were right to hit the button at all, whether it's been dismissed as backseat moderation, or if the report has even been read?
