Producer Alan Douglas did 2 LP's in 1974
but brought in outside musicians
that never payed with Hendrix
Machine Gun track is on
Midnight Lightning LP of 1975
Jimi's Original Studio Guitar
and a 2nd Guitarist Lance Quinn
backing that guitar.
