Apparently the Aurora Borealis will be visible in some parts of the UK from around 9ish, due to a solar storm reaching the Earth!!!

A few of my workmates saw it last night - I didn't know to be looking!
Did see Jupiter and Venus very bright and clear earlier in the evening though. My wife's just got a new phone (s23 ultra) and the zoom on it managed to capture both as clear "planets" (little globes) which was fascinating on a phone camera! We do have a "proppa" telescope but I can never be arsed setting it up. |
