Default which series were successful

BIG BROTHER 1 (2000): 4.7 million/26% share
BIG BROTHER 2 (2001): 4.6 million/24% share
BIG BROTHER 3 (2002): 5.8 million/28% share
BIG BROTHER 4 (2003): 4.6 million/22% share
BIG BROTHER 5 (2004): 5.0 million/25% share
BIG BROTHER 6 (2005): 4.4 million/22% share
BIG BROTHER 7 (2006): 4.7 million/25% share

BB1 was successful, because it was the first ever series, BB3 successful, and BB5 and BB7 has the same rate of success, as it both has same percentage of share.

It always suprises me that people remember past housemates. I seem to forget all apart from the main ones. Was BB3 the one where Kate won?

Euros, but world cup for nearly 2 months, and 13 weeks long series, will obviously lose viewers. BB7 still did well with ratings.

World cup lasts 4 weeks and Euros last 3.Yep BB7 did do well but id say BB3 was the most successful and they also had the World cup to compete against.

Yes, BB7 best diary room entries and moments, the best one-liners, that is still being used today, the most entertaining housemate of all time.

BB3 couldn't even generate British national Award for a contestant, on the other hand, BB7 had less ratings than BB3, generated the first National award category for a contestant, plus BB7 won the best reality TV show in BTNA and also won the best reality contestant.

Jade, Kate and Alex, I haven't mention Nikki apart from the odd mention of loss rating of her eviction.

And you could also argue, pre celeb BB,Jade(BB3) has been the most successful HM ever.Anyway theres no doubt that those three,3,5 and 7 are my 3 faviroutes.

Jade has been around 5 years, so things could change, and it is already changing.
