The Greek intellectual was called to the diary room yesterday, where he was told the flat he rents has been put up for sale.

A Big Brother insider told the Daily Mirror: "Gerry was told that his two housemates in real life had moved out and that the house they rent was being sold.

"His landlord has put his belongings in a safe place and has offered him somewhere to stay for a day or two but he has basically been evicted."

On hearing the news the poor little poppet whimpered: "I've got no home, no job and no money."

He then took himself off to have a blub in the bogs.
