Police Humans can then deal with proper real crimes.
[Several UK police forces have begun trialling AI virtual assistants to handle non-emergency calls and "wasteful" queries, with the goal of freeing up human handlers for urgent incidents] All fine so long as the A.I does not turn Nasty. Police turn up for something someone's posted on Twitter but not when someone breaking into your house. How are they going to sort the "wasteful" callers from the legitimate ones? At this point, I have no faith in our police, real or AI.
