Housemates were asked to look into their future for Big Brother's latest psychology experiment.

Reading from the instructions as the group gathered on the sofas this afternoon, Amy announced: "Housemates must write what they think will happen to them from the moment they leave the Big Brother house up until the year 2017, which is 10 years from now."

The glamour model revealed that they had 30 minutes to write on the chalk boards provided, after which they would be called to the diary room in turn to describe their future to Big Brother.

She added: "All housemates must start writing their future with the following line - 'In the year 2007, when I left the Big Brother house, I...'"

The task was greeted with little enthusiasm as the group settled themselves around the living area, bedroom and garden to make a start.

The only sound was the clatter of chalk on boards as they began to imagine what the future may hold.
