I am just writing this message to ask members is it just me here or is there a bad atmosphere of us not being friends on this forum because ther isnt many members cfhatting like we used to what do you lot think i would love your ideas thank you

I have noticed that.
It's for a lot of reasons really, people don't take into consideration other peoples opinions. Insulting members when they don't agree on things.

Its a forum and as such not everyone is going to be "best Buds" sometimes.

Its the same as in real life, everyone cant always get along so fall outs and spats will happen.

I just hate it when people take the arguments to the board, if they were gonna discuss the argument it'd be easier to do it on U2U or msn or something.

Its even worse when somebody refuses to even accept that their "theory" may be wrong and then get aggressive when challenged

I have to say that in 2 years, the last month was the worse one. I had 2 arguments a day, even if it wasn't with me, arguments were everywhere and for nothing at all. Fortunatly, some members don't use some threads like The Lounge and etc... then imagine the athmosphere. Fortunatly I've got my friends here and on msn as Ann, Sam, Matt, Funky, Billy and more.

i dont want to fall out with members i just dont agree with evryones opinions and i have given opinions over that banned film on kidnapping and God and the bible and other things but i just feel strongly and say what i say but no reasons to fall out with any members thats silly we jsut have strong opinions sometimes and i let that get me down and angry and i got a warning for going to far but i made up with that member and i feel much better and it helped

i bet many members make mistakes also and get mad but later it just passes by and life moves on and if members remember that it can help prevent it happening again maybe

Everyone gets like that sometimes, I wouldnt let it bother you. I've snapped and regretted it more than once

Everyone cant get one with everyone.... there are bound to be clashes, but I would worry too much.

The more this issue is raised the worse people feel

Its best to except that some people have very strong opinions and we wont always agree with one another

i was upset for a bit but it passed by and now i am just more careful than before. i guess we just have opinions and when our opinions dont coincide with anothers it just goes wrong sometimes but that is just discussions getting heated, i remember that at school with some very rude lads who tried to win the argument by getting offensive, we just did the same back and we showed them but it was diff there

i usually get on with most people as i am quite sociable anyroads and get guilty if i upset someone and make up which feels better

No, I'm happier on here than I have been in a long time. I'm getting more responses to my posts and more people think of me as a friend on here - before I felt people ignored me and I didn't really have any good friends. I think it's cos before I came on here I was a regular on another board where there were cliques and a close-knit group, and I found it difficult getting into this group because I could never fit in and eventually left that particular site.

I know a lot of people like my posts, and think I have a lot of maturity in what I say and the advice I give, particularly to my younger friends on here. I know there are problems with people arguing from time to time, but it's been a while since something's affected me badly on here.

I dislike the forum now, but do come on to chat and debate, but its not fun anymore, Ill definately say that. I miss a few people thats probably why, and the endless 'reality shows' and people trying their hardest to annoy you on purpose.. bleh!

Some people are beginning to put me off the site, but I enjoy too many other aspects of the site to leave, and there's a good good-to-bad ratio of members.

Nah Ann we go through fazes where we are all sick to death of each other lol. Seriously though it is the calm after the storm, this place is mad busy over the BB shows and people post in different places, once it is over everyone generates to the same sections of the site which causes a little upset for a short while.

Hopefully things will settle soon, its about mutual respect for each other and each others opinions.
