 The Newcastle Falcons have pulled of another win in the Rugby Union Powergen Cup final The final score was Sale Sharks 33 - Newcastle Falcons 37 This was a tense match where the lead switched a number of times, but in the end the hard won victory was to the Newcastle Falcons. Of course my greatest joy will be rubbing Newcastle United supporters noses in it.  How many trophies has NUFC won since 1998 ? Zip The Newcastle Falcons - The team that wins trophies 3!! 1998 Allied Dunbar Premiership 2001 Tetly Bitter Challenge Cup and now 2004 Powergen Cup We will be gloating into the night  But not over the Sale Sharks, who were worthy opponents
