THESE amazing pictures seem to prove something geeks and Sci-Fi fans have suspected for years - there's life on Mars.

Nasa's Mars Explorer Spirit sent us these images from the surface of the Red Planet four years ago.

After intense scrutiny, pictures that could be a living being have finally been found.

An amateur astronomer commented: "As far as I'm concerned, this is proof.

"What else could it be but a human-like creature?"
A pile of rocks, perhaps?

Arneldo it is taken on the red planet ecause you cn see the solar panels of Spirit.
I dont no what to make out with these pictures, it could be real...who knows?

These were proven fake. I watched a programme before and this was on it, some scientists did some investigating and they revealed it was fake, because Mars is more orange than the picture, and how did the person take the photo without being seriously hurt (loss of breath) and without the fake thing seeing you.

A human didn't take a picture. They have some robot thing on Mars.. it's been on there for months.

Out of the millions of rocks there will be on mars, there's bound to be one that looks just a little bit like a person! Saying that though, that pic still doesn't look like much of anything to me! It could even just be the way the light is reflected…

Yes it was taken on Mars, by the Mars Rover Spirit

However the image is just a small rock

IIRC the rovers have been on Mars for four years still gathering data in spite of the fact they were only expected to last for three months!

Ok, I can't keep quite any longer. I have never said what I do for a living as I am bound by the official secrets act, and I don't want to end up in prison. Or worse.

The department I work for studies film and images from CCTV and the like. We use the technology available only to government agencies to enhance images way beyond what even professionals can do. We are the best at this type work in the world.

We use this to trace terror suspects amongst others. Most of what we do is never seen beyond the top echelons of the security services. We are asked to look at all manner of things.

This week I was handed the Mars man photos to work on. Something struck me as not quite right about them from the outset. The shading and lighting was just not sitting well with me. So I went to work. Trust me, what I found would never be release to the public at large due to the panic it would cause.

But I feel so strongly about this, I need to do something.

Following are the results of various enhancements.

1: The original photo. Look at the shading around the "man" This is the first clue that some thing is wrong. The hue is out.



2: First I put the image through a colour filter program. This strips away any layering that may have been added.



3: Next I optically enhanced the image.



4: Finally I rendered the image using a program that maps it and basically makes up what is missing. This is the shocking result the government did not want you to see.




Aliens took our Maddy!!!!! The bastards. You could be next.
