After having an interesting argument on the topic at a local debating competition, I was wondering what the rest of you think of it? You don't have to go into specifics, but feel perfectly free to do so. There's a definition below for those of you who aren't sure what it is.

"Euthanasia is the practice of killing a person or animal, in a painless or minimally painful way, for merciful reasons, usually to end their suffering."
