When plain women are friendly and fun they are 'a good laugh' or 'one of the lads'. But when a beautiful woman is friendly and fun she is 'flirting'. Surely this reflects the desires of males, and the jealousy of females?

I think there's a distinction between having a "good laugh" and being "one of the lads". Beautiful women can, and do, have a good laugh without being accused of flirting.
....Take myself for example. (LOL, I'm kidding). |

Any extrovert male or female will flirt. It is natural for both to do so and should never be used as a reason to put a label on some ones behavour.......When men flirt they are one of the lads but if a woman does then by some strange two faced logic she should be called a slut or worse.....State of the nation....

I don't think that if a plain girl flirts she's one of the lads .. but either way it's harmless fun ... it's an ego boost and if one thinks there's more going on than the other then why should the other person be blamed. I think it takes some emotional maturity but some guys need to simplify there lives by sorting women into one of two categories angel / ***** ... that Sara V Darnell thing was a car crash and Darnell didn't buckel up ( god no I didn't just type that! hehe)

Ok, so I in no way agree with what Darnel said to Sara, in fact I think it was disgusting, but I think she over does the flirting. She can't see why he was upset(he still shouldn't have gotten that angry and said what he did)but she did completely lead him on. She was always hugging him and saying he was her top guy. He started to believe that she really liked him and instead of doing the mature thing, taking him to one side and telling him as much as she liked him she doesn't like him in that way, she jumped out of his bed claiming he was 'freaking her out' and saying she wouldn't sleep in a bed with him as he'd 'try and have sex with her'. These things were all done in front of other housemates and Darnel must have felt awful because of it. Again I'd like to stress that I don't condone his behaviour, he too could have handled his feelings in a much more mature way.

if sara wasnt leading him on why would she allow him to press his
erect penis up against him. or morning glory as darnell says. if it was just flirting then sara needs some lessons on it and quick. |

Flirting is flirting, it's all pretty innocent.
Being a sex tease is a different thing altogether. |
