GIRLBAND are angry they haven’t been given much air time on X Factor – and say there isn’t room for both them and Bad Lashes in the competition.
Member Layla Manoochehri said she was annoyed the group’s had less coverage than some of the other acts – including the other girl group, Bad Lashes.


"There's only space for one girl band"

She said to TV Biz: “People at the moment just think there’s two girl bands and we’re the cr*p one.”

And fellow member Pheobe Lau said: "There’s only room in the competition for one girl band – and hopefully that’s us!

“We work so hard and are close with our harmonies so we think we are better than Bad Lashes.

“After all, it’s not a friendship competition, it’s a talent show.”

And the group pledged to stay looking like normal girls – despite Simon Cowell warning them to tone up in Boot Camp.

Layla said: “We don’t want to be all skinny girls – just because every girl group out there is like that, it doesn’t mean we have to be.”
