Diana Vickers would never date her 'The X Factor' pal Eoghan Quigg because he has bad hair, according to her close friend Tommy.

The blonde beauty - who narrowly escaped being voted off the TV talent show on Saturday (29.11.08) - has been romantically linked to Eoghan since the beginning of the series but her close friend Tommy admits she would never go for the cherubic-faced star.

Tommy said: "Her dating Eoghan is a load of rubbish. Even if Diana was single, Eoghan would not be her type. He's younger than her for a start and he's not particularly good-looking either.

"Diana likes fashionable guys, which Eoghan isn't. And she doesn't like his hair!"

Tommy also revealed Diana would never cheat on her long-term boyfriend Chris.

He added to Britain's Star magazine: "Diana and Chris have had a few arguments but they've had nothing to do with Eoghan. Chris is not worried, he knows that there's no truth to it. Diana and Eoghan are both similar in age, they're away from home and are spending time together because they get on. They are just bonding."
