Default BB wont be the same when Jade passes

I think about it and when she dies, it will be the first ex-Hm to ever pass away from the UK. Im sure that there will be a tribute to her on the launch of BB10, but i just dont see it being the same again. All the producers and Davina would be devestated, I dont think that Davina will be over-excited as she usually is for evictions ect.... I dont think that Davina will be her normal self, especially for the launch of BB10.

Im not sure if im making sense, but im just saying, its going to feel weird for us the viewers, the producers and the new Hms going in to think that someone has died that has been a big part of the show and the most popular UK HM ever.

I cant see there being a good atmosphere at the launch, probably the crowd would be told to be silent when the HMs enter, I doubt that the usual booing will go on after a tribute to Jade on the launch... which i still dont know if thats happening.

I think it might be nice to have a minutes silence from the crowd and co.

It will just be the same as usual... and to be honest, most people will have forgotten about Jade in a few months [apart from her fans]

Yeah, but I doubt the producers will forget when BB10 comes, it will be in there head for quite a long time.

I think you're over-reacting a tad.

Of course she is undeniably the most famous housemate ever, and it is very sad that her cancer is terminal, but I doubt it will have that much of an effect on the show itself.

To be fair Jade hasn't had anything to do with the last 6 series of normal BB, so I don't see why it would be any different. A minute of silence would be good if she passes during the show.

Well BB is dying on its arse anyway so its kind of symbolic Jade is dying- most famous housemate ever and all that

I don't think it will have an impact on the show though, I mean Jade hasn't been at the forefront of the media for some of the biggest series' including BB5 and BB7 and it didn't have an impact then. In fact in both series' we thought we would get a new Jade (Emma, Nikki) so this could happen in BB10. And anyway just because shes been given a few months doesn't mean she will be dead in a few months. Anything can happen, she might be lucky enough to go into remission and last a few years

A minutes silence is too much I think- just a simple end dedication slide at the end of one of the shows should do the trick. Established cast members who die whilst they are still in the show get nothing more so I don't see why Jade should get special treatment when she hasn't been involved for ages, and arguably she ruined the show in 2007

Sure it will be sad when she dies but i think people will just move on after a couple of days. they might do somthing to remember her on bb but i doubt they will have a week of national mourning or somthing.

it will be just the same as when any other celebrity dies people just get over it and move on and i think the producers and Davina will get over it.

It is absolutely devastating what's happening to Jade but there won't be anything special in the next series of BB for her.
It's a fact of life that people die. People die from cancer every day. She wasn't a royal or anything. They may do a remembrance Tv programme for her or something but BB10 will just be business as usual.
Plus, she may not die BEFORE the launch. She's been told it will be months. It's not definite how many that is.

They will just do a: 'Dedicated to the memory of Jade Goody; 19** - 2009'
at the end of a show.

A minutes booing would be most appropriate.

Jade will go for maximum publicity as always so is bound to pop her clogs during the series, leaving them in an impossible position where they'll be criticised for either doing too much or too little.

For me a slide at the end of the programme would be more than enough - I doubt any other housemate would get more - but others seem to want a 7-hour primetime tribute. The trouble is when it comes to Big Brother and Jade it would be difficult enough to make a three-minute montage showing her in a good light, let alone anything more - and it would be an insult to the fans of the show to try and portray her in a good light when we all saw what happened in CBB 2007 and what a vindictive bully she can be.

I agree.
I can't see the show changing because of her death, to C4, as sad as Jade's death will be, it's still a show here they need to pull in the ratings and they're not gonna let it affect it.

They'll probably just shove up a 'In Memory Of Jade Good 19whatever - 2009' at the end of the show.

Housemates aren't immortal. Bound to happen sometime, it's just that Jade is still in her 20s and is the most (in)famous ex-Housemate (not including CBB HMs who are famous for their talent).

Sad, but life (and BB) goes on. Hopefully.

I can't see how it will be different. I mean, the show is not focussed on her, the tasks and the twists aren't so I won't see the difference.
It's sad for her of course but I don't think it will change anything as far as BB is concerned.

It'll just be another thing the critics use to beat the show up about (either too much or too little of a tribute!) - those same critics who have slagged Jade off throughout and Big Brother/C4 for giving people like her the platform to get famous.

... I'm struggling there. Isn't it the ones with no talent that end up on CBB!

anymore than one of those dedicated to things at the end of a program is a perfectly fine tribute its what the news channel do when a celeb dies
as sad as the whole situation is it wont have a effect on bb bb is still a tv show that requires people to watch jade just happened to be a housemate
