Default What age Group Watches BB?

I'm actually a bit shocked! It has been said on this forum a few times that kids watch Big Brother and I even suspect some of the posters on here are no more than kids!

Should children be watching BB? I certainly would never let my children watch it!

Discuss...

My older boys, age 11 and 14 watch it, well talk through it! Except when Angel stripped then the silence was golden!

I use it now to threaten them into silence when I m watching. 'Be quiet or I'll put Angel swimming naked on!'

I am a terrible mother!

I think this forum is generally the younger BB viewing crowd, but most BB viewers are probably older women.

Fair enough, I think teenagers are pretty clued up nowadays and probably see/hear much more than the parents think nyway, but I'm talking about primary school kids watching..

One poster on here admitted that although she is 6-10 years younger than most of this years housemates, she still remembers watching BB2! What age must she have been??

A large segment of the voting/viewing audience are teen girls and middle aged women. This helps to explain the voting patterns as they are.

Instead of keping on having a go at Angel, why not have a go about Lord Half-wit , at least Angel has got some real talent, unlike the vast majority of h/mates!!

I know people aged 10 that watch it, and I know of people aged 60+ that watch it. But I'd say it's targeted at the 18-24 year olds.

Woah!! This is an adult show, why are kids watching!?. This programme is not exactly a good role model for kids. Still it makes sense when you look at some of the comments on the CH4 BB webpage and on the forums including this one and DS.
