Dude. Swine flu is nothing. The media and government had us all worried over absolutely nothing. When the flu first hit UK, we thought we were all gonna die, then it was swept under the carpet for a couple of months because everyone realised that it wasn't really a big deal. It's a fact that Swine flu is just like the normal flu, and you can get over it within a few days. If you have a bad immune system then it can be slightly worse for you, but other than that you just feel groggy for a while.

Children and old people are more likely to die from swine flu than normal flu, and its stronger than normal flu.

Also, some people have had flu before, so they're more immune from it, because their bodies will have learnt how to get rid of it.

But because nobody has swine flu before, it's more dangerous.

Its because they never reported it for so long and couldn't contain it. Those thousands aren't in isolation anymore. They're just getting people to stay at home. Its a big problem where I live though, loads have it and everyone seems to know at least 1 person with it (I know 3).

In a lot of areas, out of every 100,000, 400 people have swine flu.

If the government are just telling you to stay at home, it can't be that bad.

the number with it is so high cos anyone with so much as a sniffle is getting tamiflu given to them often without even seeing a gp where there is summer colds and stuff as well which match up symptom wise i would happily bet that loads of those in that number who have it dont actually have swine flu
i'm still not worried about it all those i know who have had it have actually recovered quicker than they would normal flu
