The only way a dress would standout to me at a Wedding at this point is if the Bride was dressed all Gothic.

The style of wedding dress a woman chooses to have as her wedding dress expresses a lot about their personality. It was a classy dress but simple and elegant...she didn't want to 'stand out'...she didn't need to make a statement by having a fussy or elaborate dress that dominated her big day...it spoke volumes.
