Try hypnosis it can work. Though I dont think anything will ever get me over my phobia of bats. I am terrified.

Really?

They are quite harmless here in the UK

How about joining the Bat Conservation Trust and finding more about this unfairly persecuted animal

Sticks - you have just been taken off my Christmas List - I shall need a double brandy or two to recover.

I've read that the term for fear of vomiting is emetophobia. Click here for more information.

Do you have Sky, cc100?

Next Thursday afternoon at 3.30pm on Discovery Health (channel 154) there is a programme called In Therapy. It is all about Emetphobe - fear of vomit.

It might be of use to you.

i have a few phobias and the thought of somebody actually been sick on me is one. this one mainly strikes when i am on a bus after a night out. Its never happened to me but once someone on the back of the bus vomited on the floor so i think it stems from there. has something happened to u whilst vomiting ie choking or something? It is a horrible fear to have i wud suggest hypnotism too maybe if its getting u down that much. i can just about cope wth my fears and i just know if i went to a hypnostist he wud make me hold wot i am afraid of? not saying incase someone posts a picture.
