Emmerdale is the only soap that can hold my interest for a week. I've watched that religiously since 2014.
EastEnders I've tried a few times and I can't get into it, it's a bit crap and even my mum (who's watched all but HO without missing an episode since 2000) said she's only staying for certain characters. Corrie is quite gritty and I usually watch the special episodes but I'm never interested enough to watch more. Hollyoaks is just TOWIE and ****e |

Hollyoaks isn’t ****e and is actually underrated by people. To compare Hollyoaks to TOWIE, you must be deluded. Have you watched Hollyoaks? Probably not, have you?

I've watched it and he's completely right. It's like Towie and it's sh*t.

It can be entertaining. But entertaining crap. Let's not pretend it's anything other than Towie, low-grade rubbish.

3 weeks? Blimey, that’s a lot. It’s nothing like TOWIE actually and it has fantastic storylines that can be gritty or light hearted

It was probably the wrong word. Idk, the stories just seem quite dark? I catch parts when my mum has it on but I've not really seen a light hearted story for a while. But I only see like 10 mins at most each episode so idk

You leave hollyoaks alone
![]() It's not really towie though, when it tries it can be good as other soaps. Towie doesn't do serious storylines and Hollyoaks do. Perrie's homeless episode was amazing . It was amazing years ago and i would say Hannah's anorexia storyline is one of the best storylines on any soaps and i can think of other storylines from this decade that are better than storylines from the big soaps. Hollyoaks stunts are amazing, not as good as Emmerdales but you know.
