When the AUS/UK phone call occured Brian told Aleisha he was a huge fan of BBAUS and even asked her about some of the happenings in the early week. He asked if Bodie was still in the house and Aleisha said no meaning he only watched the first 2 and a bit weeks.

Yet when Pauline entered the house he never once asked her about the housemates which seemed a bit weird. Surely a mad BB fan like Brian would want to know all about Aleisha and co?

Don't you think it's a bit strange he never mentioned anything?

What annoys me more is he ranted in the DR about Carole asking Pauline too many questions about Australia which just screams to me: "I want to make Carole look like a bitch so she can be evicted."

Anyone agree with me?

Maybe he did ask her plenty of questions, but we never got the chance to see.

Or simply had nothing to ask/ Pauline made it look like she wasn't allowed to answer lots of questions or didn't want to.

Or maybe he wanted to welcome the guest as much as possible and not fire questions at her endlessly, but instead show her a little respect.

I think he ranted about Carole because Carole was making it look like she distrusted Pauline and thought something was odd about her, and Brian thought it was unfair.

I really don't see how Brian not asking questions about Australia BB = fake.
He doesn't have to devote every waking moment of his life to being a Big Brother Fanatic, plus I think he was only a major fan of UK BB anyway.

Plus he may have only asked about Big Brother Australia on the phone out of general interest/politeness. It would have been the major talking point of the conversation to ask eachother how Big Brother is going.

Yes it's strange that he didn't recognise the fake diary room, the fake BB voice, the fact that BBAUS doesn't evict people by the diary room and there were no questions about it !

You have a point, I was always wondering why Brian was so surprised that Pauline was a fake. We know he watched the earlier weeks of BB AUS, so he definitely would have known that the Diary Room she was sitting in was not real.

If he knew who Bodie was, then he wasn't lying about watching BB AUS, which means he was just acting shocked when he was told by BB that Pauline was fake.

But for all we know, the producers might not have realised that Brian might see that Pauline was fake until the last minute - I mean, they have messed up every other twist this series so it is very possible they didn't give this possibility much thought, and they might have told Brian to act like he was oblivious to the twist so that it wasn't spoiled for viewers.

I don't really care anymore because the series was over and Brian always over-exaggerated about everything.

I agreed with him at the time about Carole as well, she was always nosey and thought she knew more than she did. Like when the housemates tasted crocodile sperm except it wasn't really crocodile sperm, it was fake. They brought some out and Carole tasted it, and said "Yeah, that's definitely crocodile sperm", when in fact it wasn't, which she would've known if she really did know as much as she pretended to.

Even going by what you say, I don't really see how it makes him fake. If he cottoned on, I don't see why it would jeopardise his chances of winning or anything. It'd make him seem more appealing perhaps, because he managed to figure it out! His fans would have stuck by him either way.

And, as has been mentioned, maybe he did ask questions (about the housemates, that is), but they weren't shown. Alternatively, Pauline was meant to keep quite a low-profile, generally speaking, so the other housemates probably thought it better to drop anything that may affect their positions in the house. As for Carole, she was acting excessively suspicious, therefore I would imagine most housemates in there would have found the situation uncomfortable.

Also, Brian doesn't seem like the type to ask too many questions, does he? Every little detail probably didn't bother him, and he didn't think to ask why the diary room was different - he just accepted it. A lot of things go on in BB you cannot be sure about. Not to mention that he was probably too caught up in what was going on in his own BB UK, let alone in Australia! You can be a fan of something yet not be obsessed, after all.

I was sure they would have made a replica of the BBAU chair. Can someone put the clip of Pauline in the AUS diary room for the first time - I recall it being excactly the same.

If it was not, well he was probably was fake. He knew that if he ruined this twist people might take a disliking to him for it - as I did with Carole after she guessed it in the first 5 minutes. Also it would reveal his dumb act.

Also, maybe this was the first time Brian was watching BBAUS, so he might not know that they didn't evict by the diary room, so thats a suggestion as to why he isn't faking it.

Brian was the biggest fake in BB8, how he won I don't know, oh well, it's all over now, and the Twins have done way better then him so they are the true and real winners of BB8.

Non of this actually means Brian is a fake. Maybe he just didn't want to plague Thalia with questions. Anyway, most of the questions he asked could have been cut out of the highlight show.

Sour grapes - the last time I checked, the "real" winners are the people who actually win Big Brother. The Twins have done much better than Brian because isn't as big a wannabe as them and all he wanted to do when going on BB was to be on his favourite TV Show. People who say hes fake are just bitter about his win against the Twins.

I ent bitter, I am happy for him, a 20 year old guy winning like that, it was good for him. However he was very fake, and pretend to be thick so people would like him.

The Twins ent wannabes. They went in there for the experancie, they even said that. They can't help it if people are giving them offeres, singles, ect. They are very luck this has happend. I knew the Twins would do better then Brian anyway.

I just don't like the guy. I like real people, poeple who don't pretend to be someone they ent, and defo not fake people! I can't stand fake-ness.
