This is an absolutely fascinating topic. I don't know where I come down on it, but on some level I do think that everything alive has some form of consciousness

As is the human brain. I do often wonder quite what we could do if we could figure out how to use the rest of our brains, apparently we only use 10% of them or something. In my mind, we could move things with our brains and communicate without speaking and stuff, though I know thats not likely
