Women's Division

The female Rumble has ignited my love for wrestling again. I thought it was terrific (seeing oldies like Molly Holly, Jacqueline (my all time fave), Trish, Lita, etc. brought back a flowing river of nostalgia). Everything that has followed since has been enjoyable too. Loved the female Elimination Chamber match, and Charlotte vs Asuka was incredible.

Carmella and Nia both being champions at the moment is a choice. I ADORE Carmella (this time two months ago she was my favourite women's wrestler, no question), but I'm not feeling her as a champion at the moment. She's become borderline irritating with the shrieking, and I don't know if she's supposed to be taken seriously or not. Nia is a tad boring, though I'm glad she won the belt from Alexa at Wrestlemania. I was looking for a change from Alexa and Charlotte to new champions, but I'm ready for something different with both the Raw and Smackdown titles already. Carmella was great as Ms Money in the Back, but I think she should lose the title soon (which sucks because I'm so happy she won it). Nia needs to turn heel if she hasn't already. I'm confused about her character development, at the moment.

Ronda Rousey, who I had no idea about before the Rumble, really turned out to be amazing at Wrestlemania. I had low expectations because of the hype that surrounded her, but she blew me away (as did Stephanie tbh). I don't know what to make of her receiving a title shot already, but she needs help with her mic skills, lmao.

I'm beyond excited for the women's Money in the Bank match. I'm not sure who I'm rooting for, but I do love the random inclusion of Lana. Naomi; I think she's one of the best technical wrestlers in the women's division. Alexa and Charlotte; I get why they were chosen to be in the match because their prestige, but I hope they don't win. Ember; excited to see more of her potential. Natalya; never really been much of a fan, would've preferred Mickie James or Dana Brookes in her place. Becky; another I don't personally love, but respect as an athlete because she's key to the women's evolution. Sasha; one of my favourites, though I do understand why people call her overrated. Personally, I hope Ember wins.

Men's Division

I've begun to pay more attention to the men's division. I think Baron Corbin is my favourite, but I'm not sure why. I think he deserves a push. Finn Balor's dreamy because he's a gay icon and the triple threat match with him, Rollins and The Miz was another highlight. Can't say I'm much of a fan of Roman Reigns. I don't enjoy him in the ring at all, he's quite slow and never entertains or impresses me. I'd take Lesnar over him any day, even though he's part-time. Other favourites in the male division: Sami Zayn (), Kevin Owens and Rusev.

Also, The Greatest Royal Rumble was cack, aside from Titus flying under the ring.

At Sunday’s Money in the Bank PPV, Carmella will defend the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Asuka.

PWInsider is reporting that Carmella’s former ally James Ellsworth looks to be returning to WWE soon. According to the site, there have been several recent creative pitches for Ellsworth to pop up in some capacity at this weekend’s Money in the Bank PPV in Chicago.
