I don't know, giraffes are pretty big. I doubt you could kill one with a camera. Like a hamster or something yeah, MAYBE a cat or a small dog, but not a giraffe.

There is only one decent way to shoot an animal and that is with a camera.

I was just about to say this.

The kids are so starved of food, they need a random nobody from halfway across the world to fly over and kill a rare and old animal to feed it to them.

I wouldn't post anything online, angry or whichever, for this person to benefit... however I may feel, it's clear she posted it online for the angry reaction from her would-be detractors... to relish the angry response and manipulate that for her benefit... simple trolling 101.

I would just donate that energy and attention to causes or organizations that actually may be able to do something about it... leaving an angry comment online won't do anything to change the practice... but it will discourage in the very least the portions of those folk who do it to gain "infamy" online, etc... kind of like a reality contestant will do something to create headlines, no matter how depraved, in order to gain popularity and find like-minded individuals... it's just feeding their basic urges.

You're right of course, the photo is hard to ignore though, it's so sad. It reminds of those creepy pictures from years ago where people would take photos with dead relatives

Not that this would help with this hunting specifically, but I wish that they would hunt lions and such without guns...with something like a knife so that its more even...as they would be ****ing savaged.

I saw this on facebook and there were a bunch of men defending this saying that hunters provide food for local villages and also pay cash to help preserve animals like this Whatever they pay and such, it does not defend what they do. Vile bastards.

Yes, let them hunt the way tribal Africans hunt. Let's see what kind of hunter they are without the high-powered rifle and telescopic sight.

I really do believe there's something wrong with people who want to kill for fun. There should be some kind of register for them.

I could pretty easily kill these 'hunters' for fun, and not feel the slight bit of remorse either. I wouldn't do it with a gun though, I would take my time and make them beg.

...sadly these hunters are not ‘one man bands’ and sums of money exchange hands in support of these killings or to enable them...and that really won’t change no matter how much I Would like it to...’money talks’ and that’s a fact and with game hunting, money kills beautiful creatures....even a universal hunting ban with very harsh prison sentences enforced by all countries wouldn’t be the solution as it would be impossible to enforce I think...very sad that human species devote so much focus with research etc into ‘preserving’ and yet can still do things like this which contributes to wiping out whole species......

It's people like this who make me wonder if there aren't sub species of humans that branched off on the evolutionary scale somewhere... or I did:/

Maybe so, but it would be ****ing satisfying I reckon. Mind, maybe thats what they think, about killing innocent animals. Maybe I am as bad as them, but I wouldn't mind giving it a go if I knew I would get away with it tbh.

Yeah I remember politics in this area, between that and the poverty issues, the folk there cared more about surviving than protecting game in that area... I remember watching an interview with local farmers who said they were really frustrated by wildlife ruining their crops, etc... so they didn't really mind if hunters came in and killed some of them off, so they looked the other way...

Never Vicky as hunters don’t want a fair fight because they are cowards. How they think hunting some defenceless creature with all that firepower is something to crow about just demonstrates the extent of their cowardly mentality.
