I'm sorry, LOL, but Gimme More doesn't even need to promote the album. She's Britney Spears, that's probably enough promotion. Even though them newspapers are so stupid to always include her doing something shameless, they still always mention her upcoming album.
I don't seriously know one person that would buy a Britney Spears album for the fact it's by Britney Spears. Honestly. She's talentless, and a complete idiot at that.
There's actually an interesting 'quote' I found online about people not admitting they listen to Britney. It's quite crude, but it's true.

The single sold amazingly well considering its lack of promotion. The album is expected to sell well as well.
Blackout isn't filled with 'pop' unlike her previous albums, it's very dance-pop, R&B, electro which is something that'll attract more people IMO. Pop's kinda erased itself from the charts so it's a good move.
