I had loads of work done when I was a kid due to an accident when I was little so the dentist doesn't bother me. I would rather have a tooth out than have my eyes tested.....now that I hate, opticians get far too up in my personal space
 .Explain to the dentist that you are nervous, they will be used to nervous patients and they will ensure that it is as pain free as possible. In the long run you will have far less trouble if you sort it now. Good luck
