Nobody else picked up on this? Celebrity Awards sponsored by OK Magazine, which took place last night. Quote from Ananova:

What can I say other than I was looking foward to this and now I don't think I want to watch it
Is that the best we can do for celebrity couple of the year
Sorry to all Michelle and Stuart fans I know I'm supposed to be pleased for thembut surely there are more worthy couples than this!?! They've only been together a few months.
I noticed that its sponsored by OK magazine and that their award was voted for by the panel of judges.
as much as I don't like them I would have thought Peter Andre and Jordan would have got this.
Perhaps it was meant for Kerry and Brian but they had to refuse it

I think the fact that this is sponsored by OK magazine says it all.

Sorry Michelle and Stuart fans I agree with everything Rachb has said - celebrity couple of the year no way. How about Tess and Vernon or Gwynneth and Chris to name but two. I would even have put Kerry in front of Nadia as reality tv star of the year. But perhaps Kerry and Brian's break up has put a spanner in the works of the results.

I suppose Stu's speech was quite sweet . . . . . . . .

. . . . . . but didn't Nadia look absolutely FABULOUS, darling!

Pity about Marco and Emma doing their seal impressions again.

I agree Kaz I thought Stu was quite sweet and I'm glad Michelle kept quiet
I did notice the other celebities faces though when it was announced everyone except for the housemates were
Michelle really thinks she's a big star,on the ITV2 show she said how they'd got used to being a celebrity couple nowand talked as if she was one of the big stars about her panto this christams as if it were one of many jobs she had planned
Stuart said he's taking a year off from university to see how things go
Nadia looked very fabulous I thought she looked much nicer than most of the celebrities

That girl will not be able to get her head through the doorway before long. She loves this celebrity couple thing and will hold on to him for as long as she thinks the hype is still going.

Will Stuart regret taking time off university - what happens if he isnt offered anything? Will he be hanging around whilst madam does her starring role in panto?

I don't care much for celebrity awards. I don't begrudge Michelle and Stuart this award because I think they are a genuine couple. I don't give a toss whether they are classified as celebrities or not. In fact most "professional" celebrities have so many PR persons on their case you never know the truth.

I mean, everyone thought Mr and Mrs Beckham were for real, and Mr and Mrs Brian Westlife. Just goes to show!

Every sighting of Michelle and Stuart seems to include "holding hands", "kissing", etc even when they are not somewhere where they want to be seen (does that make sense?). That counts more for me than whether they are "celebs".

I could be proved wrong but they do seem together for the immediate future, at the very least.
