Of DS:
Spears' life is 'too chaotic' for sons Wednesday, October 31 2007, 09:50 GMT By Kimberley Dadds Rex Features A Los Angeles judge has denied Britney Spears' request to regain full custody of her two sons, ruling that her life was "too chaotic" for them. The singer attended a custody hearing on Friday alongside her ex-husband Kevin Federline, where she was slammed for having a chaotic living environment and for not communicating enough with two-year-old Sean Preston and one-year-old Jayden James. Spears has now been granted three visits per week to see her children - one overnight visit and two others from 12:00pm until 7:00pm, but they must all be monitored. The court order also looked at how the star interacts with the boys, with Commissioner Scott Gordon saying: "The environment at the house ranged from chaotic to almost sombre with little communication at all. During all three of my visits, Ms. Spears rarely engaged with the children in either conversation or play." He also slammed her for being more interested in keeping herself happy than her two children, adding: "It seems that [Britney's] choices are dependent more upon what she wants to do at any given time rather than what would be more enjoyable for the children." He concluded: "The problem is that unless Ms. Spears realises the consequences of her behaviour and the impact that it has [on] her children, nothing is going to be successful." Spears has also been told to arrange her holiday schedules with Federline, hold a meeting with a parenting coach for two hours a week, and ensure that the boys are safely secured in child safety seats when she drives with them in her car. She has been ordered to take random drug tests and hold counselling sessions with Federline at previous hearings. How is her life chaotic yeah she is a very busy woman but so are NORMAL mums who work day in day out...and the ystill find time spend time with there children... this must be a huge blow to Britney....i feel so sorry for..i dont care what any of you say |

You answered your own question at the bottom, working mums do have busy lives and they DO still make time with their children which is what the court official has said she does not do.
This person was appointed by the courts to observe hao she behaves around her children, you would have thought she would have pulled out all the stops, instead she just went on as normal. Lets hope that with the parenting classes, counselling and other interventions she learns to behave in a more child focused manner. |
