People often trace their origins back to their parents, and thank their parents for giving them life...

But when you look at it, you've got to be grateful for the circumstances that brought them together and made it possible for you to be born. Without those circumstances, you'd cease to exist.

Eg. if your parents met at a bowling alley, and if the person who invented bowling hadn't have thought of it? or if the person who made bowling alleys a success decided he'd rather work in an office? or if that particular bowling alley was never built where it was? your parents would most likely have never met.
