Highlights from tonight's 9pm show, Sunday 16 January on Channel 4

· The housemates make their second nominations and Bez and John think it will be them facing eviction
· Lisa is feeling down
· The housemates take part in a ghost-train task but a technical hitch confuses them all

Day 10 - Saturday 15 January 2005
10.28
Yesterday Jackie was the first housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house. The housemates have been awake for 21 minutes and are talking about John.

Bez says that John is quietly glad he didn't go. Caprice disagrees saying he is so wrong and Kenzie says how he was planning on going to the races today and was looking forward to it talking about the odds. They all laugh at the fact he now won't be going.

Brigitte, John and Jeremy are in the living room. Yesterday John was saved by the public vote. Jeremy is saying that he felt a bit mean cheering when Jackie was evicted. John says how foul he thought Jackie was and Jeremy laughs agreeing. Jeremy does go on to say that he is glad he met someone like her though which John strongly disagrees with, he says she was absolutely impossible.

11.03am
Kenzie is in the shower. Lisa and Brigitte are in the double bedroom. Brigitte and Lisa are talking about how Jackie didn't wash the sheets, Brigitte says she is a dog and Lisa agrees that she is minging. Meanwhile, Big Brother announces that nominations will be taking place in 1 hour's time.

John says that Lisa must be under the weather, as she is not doing her yoga class. The others say she probably needs her own space and time to herself. Jeremy says that they probably hold her back as they are not as advanced at doing yoga as she is. Bez says he went to bed angry at the situation last night. John responds saying that he was mothering Jackie, which annoys Bez who responds that he wasn't and that he got angry at her for sleeping all the time and for the special treatment Big Brother gave John over his demands for Coke. John disagrees and says that he fought for his rights and Bez says he wouldn't have let him have it if it was up to him.
Jeremy interrupts the two of them and says he doesn't want an atmosphere created today.

11.57am
Lisa and Jeremy are in the bedroom. Lisa tells him she is feeling down today and it's personal stuff to do with outside the house.

Bez, Brigitte, John and Kenzie are in the kitchen. Bez says he thinks Lisa is getting stressed over nominations.

Big Brother calls Caprice to the diary room. Yesterday Caprice took part in a secret task where she got to watch footage of the other housemates talking about her. Big Brother asks how she is today. Caprice says she is better, she feels drained but better, morale in the house is better. She says it was hurtful to hear insults about her and it was unfair of John to judge her when he had only just met her. She talked to John in front of everyone about it as she felt it was better to address the situation and not do it behind people's backs. After having it out she felt a lot better. She says John is quick to judge and doesn't look within but when they are all living together tension affects everyone in the house and they have to work together to keep their sanity.
Big Brother asks her who she thinks will be up for eviction. She says she has no idea, maybe herself and John. Definitely John and maybe her.

12.35pm
Caprice is meditating on her bed. John, Jeremy, Lisa and Kenzie are sitting in the living room. They are discussing nominations. Kenzie tells John he shouldn't get his hopes up, as he may not be nominated. John says that there will be two nominated, himself and Bez. He is picking his nose whilst telling the rest of the group they will have nominated Bez as they feel sympathy for him, as he wants to leave. Lisa says she would be up for leaving soon. John is discussing the odds and says it will definitely be himself and somebody, Bez being the favourite. Jeremy tells him that anyone going up against him will lose out and that he would bet a lot of money on it. Kenzie agrees.

3.35pm
John and Bez are in the Jacuzzi area. John is smoking a cigar and Bez is saying how the atmosphere has changed and there is a comradeship. John tells him he is wrong and that there is a lot of plotting and scheming and people being nice to him so they don't get nominated. Some more than others but that's what the game's about. He goes on to tell Bez the others couldn't care less about him. Bez says there is a little comradeship and he doesn't think anyone has a strategy.
John disagrees and says Caprice, Jeremy and Lisa are the three who definitely have a strategy. Himself and Bez haven't but the others are all working it out, planning, scheming, and offering to do everything in the house to impress the audience.

6.38pm
Big Brother has set a task in the garden. There is a Big Brother ghost train and they have been provided with costumes and face paints in keeping with the theme. The housemates have 20 minutes to complete the obstacle course blindfolded. The other housemates must guide them to pop balloons overhead with a pin attached to their helmets. It's Kenzie's turn to complete the course. The housemates are all cheering and Jeremy is shouting instructions. He successfully completes the course.

Brigitte is next to board the ghost train. She says she is scared and that the train is broken. Jeremy thinks that Big Brother is messing with it.

6.55pm
It has been 17 minutes since the housemates started the task. Lisa and Caprice have successfully completed the course. Jeremy is currently doing it and John has to complete the course. John is in the ghost train but can't make it go and the other housemates are shouting advice at him. Jeremy gets up to help him and can't make it move. He tells Big Brother that it is not working. Jeremy tells John it's not his fault and the others cheer and clap John.
Big Brother announces that the task is now complete and Big Brother will check the ghost train and if a fault is found the housemates will not fail the task.

7.26pm
John is alone in the bedroom. Caprice and Kenzie are in the sauna. Brigitte and Jeremy are in the kitchen. Bez is talking to Big Brother in the diary room. Big Brother is asking Bez how things are in the house. Bez says there is an undercurrent of sadness today and everyone seems low. He thinks the other housemates are struggling psychologically with the eviction process but he doesn't know why. He says he thinks everyone has as much or least chance as anyone but he agrees with John that it will be himself and John up for eviction.
He adds that he has made no pals or bonded with anyone else in the house. He has been going his own route. He wouldn't say he doesn't want to win but doesn't see how he would, he says he is just 'little old me doing my little old thing'.

8.56pm
All the housemates are in the living room. Bez has offered to cook for the first time. He is preparing toad in the hole. He takes it out of the oven to see it is burning, swears and says it must be too hot and tries to turn the heat down. Lisa helps Bez with the oven and Bez says he thinks he's ruined it. He asks Jeremy why he put the oven on wrong since he asked him to put it in the oven but it was in the grill. Jeremy says he thought he did put it on right but apologises if he's done it wrong.
Bez goes on to say that the oven is **** and whoever put electric in it is a divvy.
Jeremy is still blaming himself and still apologising. Caprice and Lisa say it'll be fine. John says no one is to blame.

9.05pm
Kenzie is asking John if he has ever cooked a meal. John says he has never even been in a kitchen, it is not his territory. He goes on to give Kenzie and Jeremy a 'lesson in love'. He tells them that most murders are domestics. Most men are killed in the kitchen and women in the bedroom. This is because men criticise women on their cooking and they get stabbed. It is a proven statistic so if he doesn't go in the kitchen his wife won't murder him.
Brigitte, Bez, Lisa and Caprice are all helping to serve dinner. They all clap and cheer Bez and John says he is a top man for cooking.

10.11pm
The housemates are in the bedroom for the past 40 minutes waiting to hear the results of the task.

Caprice is saying that she wants to see 'One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest' with Christian Slater. Jeremy tells her it was another of his failures, he was in a film with Christian Slater but his part got cut, but this year is going to be a brilliant one. John comments that it hasn't started well for any of them.

Big Brother announces that a fault did affect the ghost train so the housemates have passed the task. They all cheer and Brigitte sings 'We are the champions.' As the bedroom blind starts to rise, Jeremy leaps up as a beer tap has been placed in the garden. He and Kenzie run outside to see. The housemates go into the living room to find a table of food has been set for them. Jeremy reads the laminate that reveals they are being thrown a Bier Keller party as a reward and Big Brother has provided them with costumes and Austrian food.

10.48pm
The housemates have been enjoying the party for 33 minutes. They are on their third glass of beer. Caprice, Lisa and Brigitte are discussing burping. Caprice says she does **** burps at which point Lisa and Brigitte burp.
Jeremy and Kenzie are in the garden at the beer tap pouring pints. Jeremy helps Kenzie with his.
Back in the living room, Brigitte is singing and dancing. Caprice burps and Lisa and Brigitte clap and cheer. Big Brother plays yodelling music into the house. All the housemates are dancing apart from Bez, Kenzie and John who are watching on the sofa. Jeremy is making up a routine for them all to do. John tells Kenzie to go and join in to which Kenzie says it's not his style.

12.14am
John has been in bed for 1 hour and 18 minutes. The other housemates are in the living room. They have finished the keg. Big Brother is playing party music into the house. 'The Power' by Snap is being played. Jeremy is singing along and the others are dancing. Brigitte is dancing in a bra with a sweeping brush.
They are all saying they can't believe they've run out of beer. Bez says he is not happy, he thought they'd have a night of it. He doesn't join in and dance and says he has made a career out of not being able to dance.

2.09am
Most of the housemates have been in bed for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Brigitte and Bez are on the sofa. Brigitte is telling Bez that he is so young and handsome, he could fix himself up a bit, and he should fix his teeth as he's got a great smile. Brigitte goes on to tell him he is too hooked, he wants to get dosed to get away from it all but he can't. He says he wouldn't do that. Brigitte says he has really pretty eyes but sometimes he has so much aggression in them that he looks as though he could run through a metal door. She tells him he needs to settle down.
Bez says he knows but no one knows the things he's seen and done. Brigitte tells him he needs 'to get with the programme' for his kids, get ready for a new life, it may not be as colourful as he's used to but it will be brilliant. Brigitte tells him he has get over it to hold onto his beautiful girlfriend and kids.
