Default The end?

The Kills, The Last Goodbye

Tomorrow night if 5 have any decency and respect for all those who work on the show should make sure that the show goes out with a bang.

i would have this song playing in the background with the voiceover:

"Say goodbye to a dear friend, Big Brother, for the last time, tonight 10pm on Channel 5."

"Big Brother 2011-2018, this is Emma, for the final time on 5, join us tonight at 10".

Rylan: "I've been your bit on the side for 5 years, join me and people of Big Brother history to celebrate the end of our beloved Big Brother"

All the hard working people behind the scenes should get a massive shout too.

I think it would be nice to end the series how they used to with shots of the empty rooms and the disembodied voices of the conversations that were had there. I liked it when they did that in the past.

They could do a montage of empty rooms and voices from the whole last 18 years.

Yes I liked that too. It would be a fitting end.

That used to be a bitter/sweet moment at the end of the series. I hope they do this.

Let's be honest though. The show dies years ago. It really jumped the shark when Helen was just randomly put into the next series to completely dominate it again. I took it all with a pinch of salt after that.

They did that after UBB, could just do an update I guess

Also they could even one up c4 and do an ultimate best bits (as well as a series one ofc!) if they can't get c4 content I'd even settle for a c5 best bits montage

I remember from BB3 especially when they did that and turned off the lights ,it felt so sombre & final and I liked it .

With an hour finale I'm doubting there will even be an end of series montage let alone any other goodbye

5 should be thoroughly ashamed themselves. 4 made it clear they wanted a change of direction but at least allowed it to leave the channel with a bang and not a whimper that 5 have afforded it.

Ben Frow has got his wish. I hope it backfires in his face.

I've hated 5's handling of Big Brother, the:
1. Overuse of Marcus
2. The whoop whoop, whoop whoop before the start of every eviction, why?
3. The 10-9-8
4. Calls to the long number business- surely people can distinguish between what a long and short number is
5. Shabby treatment of former presenters
6. Going to talent agencies for housemates

You've just summed up exactly what I hated about the C5 version, especially nos 2 & 6!
