Default April 2019: crackdown on fixed-odds betting terminals now confirmed

[The government has announced it will
bring forward a crackdown on
betting machines in
the face of a Commons rebellion.
In a written statement,
Culture Secretary Jeremy Wright confirmed
that a reduction in the maximum
stake on fixed-odds betting terminals
will be brought forward
from October 2019 to April 2019.]
