Its been a good show but there is a lot of fakeness in there...people holding back.

...and I don't fall for fake drama...I live in the real world thankyou.

You make some great points .

I don't mind genuine 'drama' as it is human nature .. the example you gave is perfect.

I'm on about when they throw complete imbeciles in the mix to purposely upset and antagonise people ..like the recent late arrival in BB .. was he called Hussain !
I had to quit the show after he turned up

Pretty much all of the popular stuff on TV involves conflict and aggression. The soaps aren't all about happy families, neither are are the dramas.

Where is the fun in watching several largely untalented people making chit chat in a jungle? Only a couple of them actually have a personality. James and Malique could be replaced with cardboard cutouts and nobody would notice.

You need housemates like Janet Street Porter or Timmy Mallett or Dom Joly to really stir it up. Othetwise the show is pointless.

ITV know it needs conflict. That is why they write CONFLICT in huge jungle letters in the opening highlights when the slightest thing has happened. Most people are watching for conflict.

No I agree...but sometimes we need a prod at the barriers.
The jungle isn't like that though...it's more natural. Maybe there is more tolerant people in there this year

Well it's hot and humid , they're itchy and being eaten alive with insects , starving , lacking sleep , missing family and friends ( and routine ) , their time is apparently boring and monotonous...
They are under pressure from cameras watching them 24/7 , stressful tasks plus they're putting them up again each other by splitting them into teams ...

Jesus !

good times

her obliterating tony over her throwing a beetle on the fire is still so bloody iconic (and then the camp siding with tony even tho they're on a show where they eat and distress animals and insects for peoples entertainment :/ )

Well if the viewers don't want to see it then why do ITV trail it in huge letters?

If conflict is so vitally important why has BigBrother been cancelled... it had conflicts in bucketloads

Gee, maybe it is other reasons, like producer manipulation, dodgy phone votes, being on at 10pm, running for 18 years. You know, little things like that.
