Stans of pop stars can be so incredibly vile and abusive online, this really doesn't surprise me yet it's still so disheartening to read.

^yup. Honestly despair watching Twitter sometimes, some of the most obnoxious and revolting people. Even worse than the Trumpite journalists and commentators.

It's beyond me how people can be so hypocritical.
'OMG you made a joke about people dying! That's wrong! I WANT YOU TO GO KILL YOURSELF!' Honestly, those idiots should be sterilised. Last edited by Tom4784; 05-12-2018 at 02:35 PM. |

Triumph of the Weird
|
Oh the guy that went on SNL and mocked Dan Crenshaw... I didn't really know who he was
Social is pretty terrible for mental health. I would just leave the tweeting to an agent if it were me. Though kudos to him to stand up and not give into that. I'm not sure if it'll actually matter overtime if more and more celebrities stand up in strong resistance against such behavior... but it just seems like they're the easiest targets to hit with all the information that is out there on them... plus anonymity protects those people from having any real remorse. He did seem genuinely sorry (and big of him) about his failed joke. I think to have that kind of self-awareness, especially in light of the effect of criticism in his own personal world, is actually quite bold of him and shows a great deal of character. |
