Girlfriend locks herself in hotel

LOVE cheat Marc Bannerman’s devastated girlfriend Sarah Matravers has locked herself in her hotel room and is refusing to come out.

The pretty brunette won’t talk to anyone after Marc smooched with Cerys, 38, on Monday.

Last night friends said Sarah, 33, was “utterly distraught”.

She is supposed to attend the show’s first eviction tonight with the friends and family of the other contestants — but ITV bosses fear she’ll stay put in her £500-a-night room.

Actress Sarah flew into Oz only on Monday night. She was already fed up with Marc, 34, flirting and said on Friday he was history if he kissed mum-of-two Cerys.

He did when she was still in-flight and learned of his betrayal moments after landing.

She was scheduled to do a live GMTV interview yesterday but refused.

An insider said Sarah had taken ex-EastEnder Marc’s snog with the Welsh warbler “very badly”.

But she won’t do anything until ITV lets her see the tapes.

The insider added: “She was already furious with Marc for flirting with Cerys — and now he’s crossed the line.

“Sarah is seriously considering getting on a plane and flying back to Britain to begin again without him.”

Sources now fear she’s holed up in her room getting angrier.

ITV bosses are said to be considering sending her in to confront the lovebirds — and Sarah has admitted it would be “sweet revenge”.

The insider said: “Sending Sarah into the jungle would send ratings through the roof.”

But Sarah may yet calm down, as Cerys is NOT planning a romance after she leaves the jungle. Her big sister Rhiannon revealed yesterday that newly-divorced Cerys is “just having a bit of fun”.

Rhiannon, 40, said: “We only get to see what the TV producers want us to see.

“They are a long, long way from home and I think that they enjoy the mutual support.

“Mind you, she did say she was looking for a Tarzan in the jungle. She’s definitely being a Jane.”

Rhiannon also denied that former Catatonia singer Cerys had a boob job before going in the jungle.
