X Factor: Futureproof slam Hope

X FACTOR boyband Futureproof were getting into the Christmas spirit as they performed in Manchester last night.

But the lads were less than festive when talk turned to the rival girl group who knocked them out of the TV talent show - Hope.

They lost out in a sing-off to the girl group - which includes Altrincham's Raquelle Gracie - much to the lads' chagrin.

Band member Adam Chandler (pictured far left) says: "A lot of people were shocked that we got voted out, particularly as Hope can't sing.

"We didn't really like what they were doing vocally."

And in a sideswipe at the girls raunchy routines and outfits, Adam added: "Perhaps if we'd taken our tops off we'd still be in the competition.

Lapdance

"Or if we'd given Simon Cowell a lapdance." Ouch!

The lads have kinder words for the other competitiors left on the show.

Baby-faced Matthew Protheroe (pictured second from right) said: "We love Rhydian, and we're backing Same Difference to win."

The group were in town to perform at The Triangle Shopping Centre's Christmas lights switch-on event, hosted by Key 103 favourites Mike Toolan and Chelsea Norris.

And they say this is only the beginning for the band which was initially formed when the lads failed to make it through the bootcamp on the ITV show as solo artists.

The group's Sean Rumsey (pictured second left) says: "We're amazed by the amount of support we've had, and that's why we want to make this work. The X Factor was only the beginning for us."

Oh my god, what sore losers! Glad those chavs have gone! And Hope can sing, and they can sing better then Chv-proof. I really dislike them, glad they are gone I hope I never have to see them again.

Futureproof are the band which has no vocal talent, no star quality and no future compared to Hope, so I don’t think they shold be saying negative comments about Hope. What a bunch of bad losers.

They had a go at Hope when they first got booted out as well, this is either re-hashed or an attempt at staying in the spotlight. It's a bit pathetic really, they should focus on trying to get a career out of this, instead of bashing Hope who could do very well for themselves.

Axed X Factor contestant Adam Chandler has claimed that the show's girl group Hope "can't sing".

Adam, who was a member of Futureproof, mocked the girls' skimpy outfits and suggestive routines after performing at the Triangle Shopping Centre, Manchester.

Futureproof were voted off in week three after competing against Hope in the final showdown. The judges decided that Hope had a better chance at long-term success and voted to save them.

"A lot of people were shocked we got voted out, particularly as Hope can't sing," Adam is quoted by The Sun as saying.

"Perhaps if we'd taken our tops off we'd still be in the competition. Or if we'd given Simon Cowell a lapdance."
