Do think BB 8 would have been the next BB5 if it wasnt for the race row.
Charlie and billy nearly had a fight so they put them in the "Happy room" prob Scared of another fight night. What am saying is do you think they would have picked more outrage HMs if it wasnt for the race row |

The all girl task would be a disaster in any series.
And it's not just the housemates that make Big Brother you know. |

Of course, it would have been an even bigger freak show than BB7, constantly pushing the boundaries yet more and more.

Well Emily would not have been ejected like she was, and probably would have got a warning - if that is what the OP was getting at.
I am still surprised she was not reported to the police by the production team and arrested for incitement to commit racial hatred, just to try and get brownie points |

Yeah its pretty much fact, they played it safe. Safe is boring.
The characters in the house were dull, the tasks were dull. Im not even going to say it was a "nice" series because it was still terribly dull. |

The only reason BB played it safe, was becaise of the GP, who moaned to Ofcom about the Race-row. In another forum someone said that BB8 would be boring, and not very good because them people would had spoilt it, and gusse what, that person was right. It wasn't the HM's fault, maybe a bit of BB's fault, but IMO it was the GP going OTT, seeing things that weren't there.
I really enjoyed BB8, Samanda made BB8 for me, oh and they was robbed |

The producers are weak. Instead of trying to use and work the issue with maybe a quiet chat with all involved letting Emily know she shouldn't have said it and then explaining it all. Maybe even a sort of history task with them exploring the base of the word.
Instead lets have a scapegoat and throw her to the wolves, last I heard Emily had left the country after the constant abuse she was getting. |

The producers had to play it safe in order to calm the whole CBB5 thingy. That's understandable and actually I loved that series, we had some normal people.

Its funny how theres all this complaint about not enough normal people in BB anymore, but except for about 2 (Tracey and Jonty) they were completely normal. BB whingers should really make their minds up, eh? |

I think the people who complain about BB are just doing it for the sake of it! |

BB5 had a great diversity of housemates, that was enjoyable in the way they were all different and the whole thing worked very well. |

You can dislike a series, like most people do. I would say BB5 is when they started producing freaks. BB4 was dull and was the last of the normal people. I mean you could very well say that not ALL of the BB5 housemates were freaks, but the same could be said for BB7 - Glyn, Aisleyne, Richard, Jennie, Imogen, Mikey, Sezer, Grace, Susie, Jonathan, Spiral, Michael, Bonnie, Dawn and George. I would not call any of them freaks. Pete, Nikki, Jayne, Lea, Lisa, Sam and Shabhaz were though. |

It could have survived lazy production if it had witty, entertaining housemates. But it had neither.
Mind you,I guess selecting those housemates was part of the production so...a lousy production team. And lousy orders from the top of course, ordering a set-up 'love' affair to make up for all the Celeb BB5 hate and controversy. It was shoddy from beak to arsehole. It lacked everything and was generally an insult to the viewers and fans. |
