That's a difficult situation. Time is a great healer though. You should try and cheer your friend (who fancies the girl) up, and maybe take her out places so she can meet new people and perhaps find someone new. It's not an ideal situation and will take time, as I said, but when you're young you do tend to like different people, so that could well be the case for your friend.
