X Factor's Niki is soon laughing despite KO

WARWICKSHIRE dinner lady and X Factor semi-finalist Niki Evans has been invited by Midlands comedy star Jasper Carrott to join his Christmas line-up at the NEC.

The Polesworth school dinner lady has been invited as a last-minute addition by Jasper to his Rock With Laughter show after her surprise knock-out from the ITV show's semi-final on Saturday.

Niki will be performing at the shows tomorrow, and on Friday and Sunday alongside Jasper Carrott, Chris de Burgh, Jamelia, Jack Dee, Dame Edna Everage, Shakin' Stevens, Jo Brand, Tap Dogs, The Manfreds and Ray Quinn.

Jasper said: "X Factor's loss is Rock with Laughter's massive gain."

Niki got knocked out of the TV talent contest in the semi-finals after performing live every Saturday night for the past eight weeks.
