I don't email myself as I rarely check emails, but I send messages on FB or PM myself here/MN.. I send myself whatever links I am reading when I go to bed so I can switch to laptop, I send myself reminders of things and stuff too

I used to send myself drafts/finished versions of coursework and essays when I was a student but I don't really use email now.

I think a lot of the folks in this thread need to look into reminders and calendar apps and also using the cloud to continue where you left off on another device. My watch does most of it for me

Back in ye olde days I used to email files from my phone that I needed on the computer. But technology has moved on and my phone is set up as a network mapped drive now so... Welcome to the future I guess.
