Default TV shows that declined in quality?
Which shows started out amazingly for you only for the quality to decline as it went on?

For me:

1. Skins (I still enjoy gen 3 but nowhere near as 1 and 2.)
2. Misfits
3. The Simpsons
4. The Big Bang Theory
5. Dr Who

How I Met Your Mother - The first 5 seasons were great but it became really tedious to watch around seasons 7-8.

Arrow - I enjoyed seasons 1-4 but season 5 was a bit naff and just never bothered to carry on watching.

Sex in the City - Every season after it went from 20 odd episodes to 10-12 was dire. The final series was quite good though.

As soon as they killed Alan Dale the show lost all momentum and purpose and became all about Betty's boyfriends, which was always the worst part of the show.
