Maybe has an underactive thyroid... But I think it's more likely to be an overactive pie arm.

I'm surprised they made such comments given how the civil service usually tries to stay nonpartisan. There are a few other reasons why he shouldn't be PM anyway.. *cough* antisemitism

Ha, exactly. There are plenty of valid of reasons to not want him in Number Ten, why go for such a daft one?

the civil service are there to carry out the wishes of whatever government is in charge, so they are not supposed to show any political bias. It's an interesting one, because this is an individual and not a party. Whatever, it's not their place to comment in my opinion.

I highly suspect this to be a bit of planted fake news to allow a Corbyn government to have a clearout. Nothing is ever as it seems

How under handed, glad these snakes are to be exposed for their shocking ageist accusations. The retirement age is a recommendation not an order, You have paid in your 35yrs Ni to draw down sgould you so wish to. However if you are fit and compitent at 67 what happens on the stroke of midnight on your birthday, Do all your faculties desert you? What an odd concept, if you choose to and are able then retirement is a personal decision.

However, they should be fired.
This is unacceptable from them.

we don't know what level these people were in the civil service, we also don't know the circumstances where the comments were made. Everyone is entitled to voice their opinion, it's just not something that the civil service should have as a matter of public record. One can behave in an impartial, professional manner while holding a different opinion.

Are you new here, Bots? :-)

I'm a civil servant. No one asked me... but if they had, I'd have said the old Soviet nostalgist Corbyn is unfit to be PM because of his support of terrorist groups and his anti-Semitism, and a large proportion of Labour members would agree with me. And while we're at it, Hunt and Johnson are also unfit to be PM.

it doesn't stop anyone doing their job. If it was the civil service policy that Corbyn is a tit and no-one should do anything he says ... well that's a different kettle of fish

If your job is to be impartial then that is what you should be... if you can't get a new job.
Personal opinion... pffft.
