By the time BB started in summer 2000 it was commonplace for new British TV shows to be made in widescreen so why were the first six series in 4:3 then?

BBUS didn't start filming in widescreen until 2014, so I'd say it's pretty common for cheap-to-film reality TV shows to stick with the camera equipment they have until it's absolutely necessary to upgrade

What does it matter if it's widescreen or not? You still see the same old sh!te on it, but wider, what goods that?
