Well me and my best friend marnie are having a joint party, and we're going to rent out this hall

But i don't want it to get really boring, and i definately don't want segregation between boys and girls... any suggestions for keeping the party alive??

Also what are the best party snacks and drinks

And music?

I was actually thinking that but it's difficult to find the right theme, also i don't like it when i get invited to fancy dress because i feel like i'm expected to go completely far out and spend loads of money...

Get a DJ or just like a laptop with itunes or sumins. Have a mix of music, but the proper jumping rave dance tunes get people moving (did at a party I went too) Maybe have a theme, lol the last one I went to was fancy dress and most of the girls all dressed all slutty haha.. well thats how it is with some girls in my year. Have like loads of bottles of coke and crisps and stuff so people can pick at..

You also should have the latest tunes plus some cheesy party songs.

Not really, again the party I went too a while ago the birthday girl (Who i fancy the pants off) cause her dad is a policeman she borrowed like a girls policehat and liked dress like a police woman (obviously a sexual policewoman lol). Bunnys always a good choice lol. As in sexual bunny. Haha bunny costume woop!

Have something like an 80's theme say. You can get stuff quite cheap from charity shops.

you could have a guest come in towards the end to keep it lively!
do you have a decent local band that your mates know?If so you could get them to play,that would keep people interested.Or if you had fancy dress you could have a competition and at the end announce the winner,so people would have a reason to be insuspense right til the very end lol.Orrrrr you could have a firework display towards the end,if you have the money and an adult willing to do it,or you could hire some entertainment like a fortune teller or something lol.I will think of some more ideas,Ill try and think of free ones!

Ok you're fourteen... hmm.

Well, occasionally play songs that have well known dances (Macarena etc), just incase theres awkward moments where no-one wants to dance. Other than that, play music that everyone will know, chart music - happy though!

Food; mini-pizzas, sausage rolls, crisps in a bowl - those sorts of things usually go down well.

No idea about any games though - the only ones I can come up with are drinking games or truth or dare-esque ones.
