Idk. How would the 20% of libdems that go in to parliament be decided? Cos I’ve always felt like this system will just elect a bunch of London toffs at the top of the list as opposed to the likeable and relatable candidates from all round the country that we’re more likely to vote for.

It’d also open up the chances for actual nazi’s to get a seat which is terrifying. Like a Nazi party could be created tomorrow, guarantee themselves 0.16% of the vote, and they’d get a seat. Lord Bucket Head or any non-political Z list celeb could probably achieve his too...

I don’t think it’s a great idea.
