I thought the guy came late? In which case the book would've been moved for the reserved occupant surely? The book was there as it was an accessible seat, it would've taken 2 mins to identify him as a student.
What was the title of the debate he was there for again? How shockingly bad does it look? Not young student removed from front row, but young, black and blind student
