Default BRITs 2020 Rising Star nominees (formerly 'Critics Choice')

The award that's gone to artists that've gone on to be pretty huge in the past (Adele, Ellie Goulding, Florence and the Machine, Emeli Sande, Sam Smith, Rag n Bone Man, Jorja Smith, Sam Fender, James Bay, Jessie J, Tom Odell and, er, *squints at notes* Jack Garratt)

This year's three nominees are below, with some YouTube clips I've pulled arbitrarily right now

Celeste

Beabadoobee

Joy Crookes

Most of the press attention has narrowly put Celeste as the frontrunner but there've been plenty of successful runners-up in previous years, too (Foals, Marina and the Diamonds, James Blake, Laura Mvula, Dua Lipa, Anne-Marie, Lewis Capaldi, Mabel, etc...)

It, and 2018, are the only years where all three nominees have been female

I worry I am in love with all three of them
